As part of the DUO:offsite festival, Katherine Webborn has mapped out a walk through Nottingham City Centre.
The walk takes about an hour at a leisurely amble. Don’t rush it.
It is best to choose a day with lovely weather (as rare as they are), and a comfy pair of shoes.
The walk can be started from any point on the map, and the cuircuit waill bring you back to where you started. Download a printable map and directions from HERE (or click on the map opposite)
This is a guide for a walk through familiar territory but hopefully you will see a side to Nottingham you may not have noticed before.
Things to take:
This map – this map is offering to lead you, but you are under no obligation to follow. If you see an interesting stairway or road, you really should go see where it goes.

An umbrella - it is always better to go for a walk on a sunny day, but the weather can be unpredictable.
A bottle of water
A tasty snack – have a look HERE for inner city picnic ideas
Keep your eyes peeled: dotted around the route are interventions, objects and situations; some of which are intentional, and some of which noone has any idea how they got there.
After you have walked the route- email us at observations@duo-offsite.com with details of what you saw, where and when. After 20th June, we will post your feedback HERE on the website.
